Mumford and Sons’ Winston Marshall ‘Taking Time Away From Band’ After Praise of Andy Ngo’s New Book on Antifa
Mumford & Sons’ Winston Marshall announced Tuesday that he would step away from the band days after he was criticized for praising a book authored by Andy Ngo who has reported extensively on Antifa.
Marshall tweeted “Over the past few days, I have come to better understand the pain caused by the book I endorsed. I have offended not only a lot of people I don’t know but also those closest to me, including my bandmates and for that, I am truly sorry.
